Sergio rewrites Premier League record books

Sergio secured two more incredible Premier League landmarks to further add to his record-breaking career during the course of City’s superb 6-0 win over Aston Villa today. When he scored his second goal of the afternoon midway through the second half, it took our Argentine striker supreme’s overall Premier League career tally to 176 goals. And that meant Kun overtook Thierry Henry to become the Premier League’s all-time leading overseas scorer. When Aguero then subsequently completed his hat-trick on 81 minutes, it saw him secure his 12th league treble, meaning he overtook Alan Shearer to set a new Premier League career hat-trick record. They are just the latest remarkable milestones in the career of our all-time record goalscorer, who has now moved into joint fourth place in the all-time Premier League scoring charts with 177 goals. Aguero is City’s greatest-ever goalscorer. He currently has 249 in all competitions for the Club.
