A win for Barcelona with Kun at Camp Nou

Sergio was present during Barca's 4-2 victory over Real Sociedad for their opening match for La Liga's new season.

Kun has been recovering from a tendon injury in his right calf, so he accompanied his team-mates from the bench along with Ter Stegen and Ansu Fati, who are also undergoing treatment.

The match started with Barcelona displaying a very solid performance that put them 2-0 before halftime, with goals from Pique and a header from Braithwaite. After the second half started, Braithwaite extended the lead for the Azulgrana, only for Real to fight back into the game with 2 goals of their own to get within a single goal distance of equalising. The final scoreline was sealed by a great goal by Sergi Roberto from a collective play.

Sergio continues his pathway to recovery – it is estimated that he will need 8 weeks to become available to step on the field as a player and thus begin this new stage of his career as part of Barcelona's squad.
