Kun by Aguero

Disney and Sergio made a joint announcement to announce the release date of the Kun By Aguero documentary, a four episode series about the life of Kun. Narrated in first person, the documentary will have never-seen-before footage and testiomonials about the players and his career. It'll be available for streaming on May 7th at Disney+.

The Canesseries festival also announced that Kun by Aguero will be part of the non-competing programme of its 8th edition, to be held on Cannes at the Palais des Festivals from April 24th to 29th. Sergio will make a personal appearance at the festival's avant premiere.

This annual revue brings the most acclaimed series worldwide to the mythic theaters of Cannes, where international celebrities, producers and showrunners tread on its legendary pink carpet. Shows both longform and shortform, as miniseries, as well as documentaries, will take part.

This documentary was jointly produced with ESPN, and directed by Argentinean Justin Webster, and helmed by audiovisual studio PEGSA. The show will tell Sergio's life through 4 episodes, with Sergio himself narrating, sharing reflections and revelations about some of the crucial and unique moments in his personal and professional experiences. It'll include unreleased footage and interviews with friends, family, and well-known figures such as Lionel Messi, Pep Guardiola, Nicolas Otamendi, and Ibai Llanos, among others.
