Starring in "The Yellow Night"

Sergio will be part of Barcelona's traditional celebration, hosted in Ecuador, to present the team's roster for the season. Carlos Alejandro Alfaro Moreno, the president of Barcelona, made the announcement with Kun during one of his Twitch livestreams. For this reason, Sergio will be able to play in the exhibition match that will take place on January 28th.

"I went out for dinner when I was in Qatar – while watching the inaugural match against Ecuador –, and some fans of Barcelona recognised me. They asked me to be part of Yellow Night," Kun narrated. Sergio assured he was in condition to play a football match, for the first time after his retirement in December 2021 due to a cardiac episode. "It'll be the first time I play a game since then, so it'll be special. I'm very happy to play and I hope you all can attend," Kun added. In prior events, Yellow Night hosted guests like Javier Mascherano, Carlos Tevez, Ronaldinho, Diego Forlan, Andrea Pirlo, Kaka and Del Piero.
