Kum summoned to join Argentina's national squad


Lionel Scaloni, current manager of Argentina's senior team, revealed the roster of players selected to play in the World Cup Qualifying matches against Chile and Colombia next month. Sergio appears in the final list, rejoining the national squad where he is the 3rd top scorer in all time.

Scaloni's picks include four newcomers: midfielder Emiliano Buendia (Norwich City), right-back Nahuel Molina (Udinese), and defenders Jose Luis Palomino and Cristian Romero (both from Atalanta).

Argentina will host Chile on June 3rd, playing in the province of Santiago del Estero, and five days later, the team will travel to Barranquilla to face off Colombia on June 8th.

Having accrued 10 points to date, Argentina is 2nd in the Qualifying Group, 2 points behind the current leader – Brazil.
